The Pet Prescription Team is always in need of financial support and contributions. All contributions and donations further the development and outreach of the Pet Prescription Team.
Our vision as a Pet Therapy organization is to train as many pet owners and their pets to become certified therapy animals. Education and the value of therapy animals have been studied and findings have shown the great attributes of animals and their healing power to humans. With the support of donors we are able to not only continue developing our organization but further the development of other outreaches to people in need. Our future goals are to develop special outreach programs through the Pet Prescription Team.
We are presently developing an inter-city; (Read To The Pet Program) which works with inter-city kids after school who will read to the therapy animals.
Walk The Dog
The Pet Prescription Team is in need of shirts for our volunteers. We are presently looking for a shirt manufacture that would like to donate shirts to our organization. These shirts are important to us as volunteers to identify our members when visiting at facilities.
We are also in the beginning stages working on developing a; (Walk The Dog Program) where patients that are rehabilitating can walk therapy animals to re-establish motor skills.
Once we have either raised the funds for our team shirts or had the shirts donated to our organization we will need to have our organization logo embroidered on the shirts. If you would like to help in this process either by offering your services as an embroidery company or financial support for this job we would be very appreciative as the Pet Prescription Team.
With your continued financial support we can not only continue visiting in Hospitals, Assisted Care Facilities, Convalescent Homes but we can further the training and vision of our organization and reach out beyond what most Therapy Animal Programs accomplish and begin new outreaches with Certified Therapy animals.

Pet Prescription Team
The Pet Prescription Team (PPT) is a non-profit organization dedicated to educate people and support programs that endorse the;"Healing Hearts Through Pets) philosophy. Pet Prescription Team trains and screens volunteers and their pets for visiting animal programs in hospitals, nursing homes, rehabilitation centers, schools and other facilities. The Pet Prescription Team goal is to improve the lives of people based on the premise that pets are good for our health and well being and enhance the lives of people by promoting the human-animal bond through animal-assited activities and animal-assited therapy visits.
