Heartbroken
Today I must share some heartbreaking news regarding one of our long-time volunteers.
Yesterday we lost Lonnie Ruskin
This was a unexpected loss and just last week Annie and Lonnie visited at their assigned facility here in San Diego. I have no words to calm the spirit of those who knew her... I to am dealing with this news.
What I am needing is a home for Annie. Annie is a Pet Prescription Team Therapy dog and the family has reached out asking the Pet Prescription Team members if they would take Annie and continue visiting with Annie. She is 10 years old with no health issues. She is a BorderCollie/ Australian Shepherd. Good with all dogs and cats. She was Lonnie's constant companion and this is heartbreaking for Annie.
