Our Mission:
Founded by Krystal Emery in 2003, the Pet Prescription Team has spent over two decades bringing comfort, joy, and emotional support to people in need through therapy animals. Our organization has facilitated over 100,000 therapy visitations, offering a unique kind of care to hospitals, retirement homes, schools, libraries, jails, and more.
Our therapy animals have touched the lives of countless individuals, from children participating in "Read to the Dog" programs to inmates in Los Angeles County jails seeking emotional healing. Each visit brings companionship and a sense of hope to those who need it most.
