Sheriff Department Visiting Toy Drive
Each year the Los Angeles County Sheriff Department Toy Drive has been a big hit for our volunteers. If your unfamiliar or new to PPT let me provide information on what this event is and the locations we are needing volunteers.
Saturday is the day that children and family come visit those who are incarcerated at Women's Jail, Men's Central Jail and Twin Towers Jail. The Sheriff department provide Christmas presents for the kids who's parent is incarcerated at this event.
This Saturday, December 17th we are looking for volunteers who might give a few hours to visit with these children as they wait to see their parent. You don't have to have jail clearance to attend and all visitations are not inside the actual jail.
Below you will find the addresses of the facilities we are needing volunteers and the times that this event will be happening. As I said, any amount of time you can offer will be awesome.
Please let me know ASAP so we can provide parking clearance for each of you.
